After 30 years in full-time congregational ministry, 21 as the Senior Minister of the Alameda Church of Christ in Norman, OK, Rusty Tugman became the Leadership Trainer & Workplace Coach for the Oklahoma Department of Human Services. In that role, he trains and coaches the supervisors, managers, and executives of Oklahoma’s largest state agency. Additionally, he is a True Dads Educator, a certified trainer for Strata Leadership, and the owner of Tugman Coaching & Consulting, LLC.
Rusty is an organizational leadership specialist and an in-demand keynote speaker. He has a B.A. in Bible and M.A. in Ministry from Oklahoma Christian University and an M.A. in Administrative/Organizational Leadership from the University of Oklahoma. He is also an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation and a Certified Team Coach through the Center for Executive Coaching.
Rusty and his wife, Mitzi, have been married for 30 years and live in Edmond, OK. They have one daughter, Hope, who is a senior at Oklahoma Christian University, where Mitzi serves as the Campus Coordinator for OC Admissions. Rusty considers it a great honor to be an encourager and equipper of church leaders and congregations throughout God’s Kingdom.
