Mark Edge

Mark Edge has served as a foreign missionary to Papua New Guinea and Argentina. He has served as the preaching minister to Texas churches in Holly Lake, Brownsville, Winters, and Tyler. Mark earned an undergraduate degree in Bible andSpeech, a Master’s degree in Religious Communications, a Master’s of Divinity, and aDoctor of Ministry degree from Abilene Christian University.

Mark loves the local church and he and his family have been members of the Shiloh Road congregation since 2006 when he became the church’s preaching minister. He founded The WorkEdge Company in 2013 after retiring from full-time ministry. His WorkEdge team devotes itself to employee retention through care, counseling, cultivation, and consulting. Inspired by these experiences, Mark enjoys encouraging and teaching church members to fulfill their potential as Jesus’ salt and light in the workplace.

He and his wife, Judy, will celebrate 30 years of marriage this year. They are blessed with four children: Haleigh, Abby, Annie, and Timothy. They serve as a marriage mentoring couple to the Shiloh church. Mark also enjoys supporting the Tyler community in civic activities including serving as president of the Tyler Morning Toastmasters.

Mark has a passion for missional activity in the workplace and with churches outside of the Bible Belt. He considers it an honor to be called by God to help people who work in the secular workplace Monday through Friday and assist local congregations on weekends, which he has done in various interim ministries since 2014.
